Hi! My name is Terri Carol, I live in beautiful Half Moon Bay, California. Hence the business name Half Moon Beads, a little play of words on where I am from.
I fell in love with making jewelry in 2001, when my sister-in-law encouraged me to give it a try, I took to it like a fish to water. I read as many books and magazines as I could get my hands on and I began making items for myself. Soon the ladies at work were asking where I got my jewelry. When I told them I made it, I started getting requests to make jewelry for them.
In 2005, I took my first lampworking class and I started incorporating lampwork beads into my designs. Soon I became intrigued with glass and now I'm hooked. I love glass of all shapes, colors and forms. I have joined various lampworking groups and learned from other members. I then practiced, practiced and practiced some more.
In 2007, I took classes in glass fusing from Bea Sharp of B Sharp Accessories I am now offering fused glass pendants and earrings in my collection.
I am a member of Northern California Chapter of the Society of Glass Beadmakers (SGB NorCal), International Society of Glass Beadmakers (ISGB), Self-Represnting Artist Member #C73 (SRA), and Self-Representing Artist Jewelry Designer Member # 0448 (SRAJD)
